In brief
The large and comfortable apartment sleeps up to four. It has one bedroom with king sized bed, lounge with full sized double sofa-bed and sliding doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the lake and Le Pâquier and has a well equipped and stylish kitchen. Wireless broadband and TV channels are provided.
The apartment is located on the top floor of a block, accessed by lift or stairs, just a few minutes walk from the old town area and town centre of Annecy. This is a charming apartment, intended for those who will appreciate it's lovely location.
Lounge
A light and warm room with parquet floors and a lovely view. It has a good quality full sized double sofa-bed which can comfortably sleep two, extending dining table to seat four, TV with terrestrial cable channels, DVD player, CD player and storage for those staying in this room. There are books, DVDs, CDs and games provided for your pleasure. Fast wifi is available throughout the apartment and is included in the price.
Balcony
Off the lounge through full height sliding doors, this is a lovely little oasis. Facing south, it overlooks the lake and Le Pâquier and is a perfect spot to sit and enjoy your coffee, whilst you contemplate the many choices of what to do with your day. The road it overlooks is the beautiful tree lined Avenue d'Albigny which is known as the Champs Elysées of Annecy. Le Pâquier is the location for many of the events in Annecy. The Film Festival in June is centred here and the famous Fête du Lac - the fabulous firework display over the lake in August, takes place from barges moored just off Le Pâquier in front of us.
Bedroom
The bedroom has a king sized bed with comfortable mattress, warm parquet floors, ample built in storage, chest of drawers and dressing table/work station. The bed is already made up with high quality cotton linen on arrival.
Kitchen
This has been completely refitted with new units and applicances. It is a full working kitchen, not a tiny kitchenette with barely room to slice your baguette! There are more cupboards than are usually found in holiday lets and a good deal more worksurface! There is an oven and separate built in four plate hob, sink and draining area, decent sized fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. It is fully equipped with all the crockery and cutlery you will need, plus pots and pans and sufficient cooking equipment to prepare most meals.
There is a second, enclosed, balcony off the kitchen with washing machine.
Bathroom
This is a good size with luxury double sink and storage underneath and lighted mirror over, full sized bath with shower overhead and glass shower screen and toilet. It has also been completely refitted to a high standard.
Linens and Cleaning
Linens and end of stay cleaning are included in the weekly rental charge. We regret that we are unable to accomodate pets and the apartment is strictly non-smoking.
